Michael Christie

Michael Christie has amassed over 26 years experience in the field of graphic design, working with the private and public sectors. As a graduate of the State University of New York, Rockland College, Christie also holds an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences (AAS), a degree in Graphic Arts and Advertising Technology. In addition to his work at Design Studio, Christie has been lecturing in Desktop Publishing and Graphic Design at CARIMAC since 1992.

Graphic Design (Basic)

Do you want to go public with your ideas and products? Or learn some basic advertising publicity techniques? This course will introduce you to the basics of graphic design using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and InDesign. The principal focus is to show students how to design logos, brochures, posters or billboard advertising. You must be comfortable using a computer. You will also need to take a USB stick along with you to this course.
